Growing up in a Sicilian-American family in New Jersey you can just say that food was always the main event of the day. But my real love for being in the kitchen started with Christmas cookies. My mom and I'd get started about a week or so before Christmas, and only when everyone else was in bed. It was so special staying up til midnight just her and I, baking away. From there I graduated to getting creative with all things kitchen-related. I became hooked and fell in love with cooking, baking and having lots of company over. Girls night appetizers, birthday parties, progressive dinners for church --- you name it, I was in it!
Now I'm teaching others all I know -- styling charcuterie boards, stress-free baking, cooking shortcuts and general tips I've picked up over a lifetime!
